Howard J. Belfor
|
Howard has over 30 years of experience in the electronic security industry. His career began as an applications and design representative at a commercial access control & security systems manufacture. Howard has held several positions providing design and application management for several manufacturers. In addition he has held many positions including Regional vice president for several systems integrators as well as overseeing operations, and project management positions. Howard is co-founder of SST Southern Mid Atlantic Region and is its President. As President, he directly manages and provides leadership to 45 + personnel including executive oversight of SST's Federal System Division and its activities.
Howard received the ASIS International Board Certified designation of CPP in June of 2002 and has been a member ASIS International since 1981. He is the Vice Chairman of the Physical Security Council and is a regular speaker at Advanced Application and Technology Seminars.
His expertise includes a complete understanding of the fundamentals, i.e. Supervision for construction support, execution, system design, integration, equipment acquisition, logistics, training support, scheduling, coordination of subcontractors and liaison with client representatives.
Howard is active as a volunteer with the Alexandria, Virginia Chapter of the American Red Cross. He is the Chairman of the Annual Waterfront Festival (2007) - the largest outdoor fund raiser on the east coast.
