Jim Fairbanks
|
Jim has over 23 years experience in the electronic security industry. His career began as a cost accountant working at Sensormatic Electronics Corporation (now a TYCO company). During his fifteen (15) years at Sensormatic Jim gained extensive experience in Finance, Manufacturing, International and Domestic Marketing Support, Product Development & Support and Account Management with some of the nations leading retailers such as K-Mart, Wal-Mart, Sears, Home Depot, Federated Department Stores just to name a few. Jim capitalized on an opportunity to go into business for himself when Sensormatic made a strategic direction to market their products and services through a certified dealer network channel.
In January 1998, Jim founded Innovative Security Solutions Incorporated (ISSI) a full service electronic security systems integrations business. In 2003 ISSI merged into SST to support SST's growth in the Southern United States.
Currently Jim is responsible for the southern region for SST which includes Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana and Texas. His locations support a wide range of customers from Healthcare, Universities, Fortune 500 Companies, Airports, Petroleum / Chemical Plants and the Commercial Office market segments. Our organization is focused on providing design build solutions for customer that requires an extensive security program from technologies, manpower, policies and procedures. Jim's expertise includes a complete understanding of the fundamentals, i.e., Supervision for construction support, execution, system design, integration, equipment acquisition, logistics, training support, scheduling, coordination of subcontractors and liaison with client representatives.
Jim is actively involved in his community by supporting the local school district, fund raising for customer's charitable organizations, Junior Achievement and the Boy Scouts of America. Jim resides with his wife and son in Boca Raton, Florida.
