Joel Richman
|
Joel has over 18 years in the electronic security industry. Joel's responsibilities range from merger and acquisition integration, security architecture, and deployment of systems to organizational planning and execution. Based in Norristown, Pennsylvania, Joel has spearheaded the technical growth of SST and is directly responsible for all IT resources throughout the United States for SST. One of the original founders of SST, he has held positions in all operation facets, including Executive VP of Corporate Services and CIO, a position he currently occupies.
Previously, Joel worked for two of the top security companies in the US. CVS Security Systems and JWP owned Maris Equipment Company. Joel's expertise in operations were utilized extensively at these companies, holding positions of Operation and Service Manager, Project Engineer, and General Manager.
Joel is an active member of the local Eastern Technology Council and the CIO Institute. He has authored a chapter in the award winning book "CIO Wisdom II - More best practices" published by Prentice Hall and distributed worldwide. Chapter 5 titled "Securing the IT Facility" attempts to explain best practices in electronically securing your facility for the CIO.
Joel resides in Montgomery County with his wife and stepson
