Tom Catagnus
|
Tom is SST's northern regional president serving Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Illinois and Wisconsin. He has been in the electronic security industry since 1982. Tom has held several key positions with SST, including sales/marketing and customer service. Tom is a principle and one of the original founders of SST.
Previously, he has worked for two national security companies and a large regional privately held systems integrator. Tom's marketing and customer service expertise has help thrust SST into the national spotlight. He had developed several key marketing and customer service initiatives for their sales network. He is responsible for the design and development of all strategic sales and marketing communication for SST.
He is an active member of the Greater Philadelphia ASIS chapter where he has held several volunteer positions, including membership and golf chairperson. He also is an active member of the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA). He is a charter member of The Philadelphia Business leaders Alliance (PBLA).
Tom is involved in many community organizations. He is an original founder and a board member for the Michael Petrone Foundation, raising money for scholarships and key charities. He is on the advisory board for the Montgomery County Coaches Hall of Fame. They recognize both active and former successful coaches at the professional, collegiate and high school and community levels. Tom was elected to the Kennedy-Kenrick High School Sports Hall of Fame in 2005. He has over 15 years experience as a basketball coach at both high school and elementary schools levels. Tom and his wife Kathy have two teenage children, Michelle and Tommy. They live on a small farm in the community of Worcester, PA with their 3 horses, 4 dogs and 3 cats.
